In this study, it is split into two main steps. First, an analytical design is proposed to define the desired parameters with affects of different flux air gaps. Then, a finite element approach is introduced to simulate magnetic field quantities (such as inductance, fringing flux, magnetic flux density, electromagnetic force, current, voltage) of the SRs.

A finite element model using a multi-fiber approach is proposed in this paper for the analysis of reinforced concrete (RC) members using fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcements, with a specific focus on the effect of pure torsion. The proposed model is formulated using a displacement-based approach and a kinematic assumption involving a twonode Timoshenko beam.

Crystalline structure of CaO-P2O5-SiO2 system at 3,000 K were investigated by molecular dynamic simulation. The models with different concentrations of P2O5 (5-40 mol%) were constructed by using Born-Mayer-Huggins potentials. The size of models was from 5,270-5,520 atoms. The local environment of elements and glassy-network structure were investigated in detail.

This article presents two methods to determine pressing forces to the M1 copper plate. The first approach employs the upper-bound method, and the second method combines numerical simulation with a central composite design. The upper-bound method uses physical analysis to determine the deformation zone and establish the division of the rigid block model. The findings were identical to the slip-line solution method.

Ebook "Structural concrete: Finite-element analysis for limit-state design" is a review of available experimental data on the behaviour of concrete at both the material and structural levels reveals the unavoidable development of triaxial stress conditions prior to failure which dictate the collapse and ductility of structural concrete members; moreover - and in contrast with widely-accepted tenets - it can be shown that the post peak-stress behaviour of concrete as a material is realistically described by a complete and immediate loss of load-carrying capacity.

An examination of the elements explicit to the Japanese post war governing system that enable the national ministries to extend their administrative authority over the political economy. It argues that the insular model defies structural reform and prevents the implementation of economic and social policies that can resolve socio-economic problems.

In this paper, a new four - variable refined plate theory proposed by the authors themselves for dynamic analysis of stiffened functionally graded composite plates reinforced by carbon nanotubes (SFG-CNTRC) subjected to moving mass is researched developed. The geometrical modeling and governing equations of the system are obtained using the finite element method (FEM).

The present paper considers the composite plate resting on an elastic pinned subjected to harmonic loads. The plate element model with high-order shear deformation theory and finite element algorithm is proposed in order to buckling analysis of the plate. As a result, the buckling domain is determined. Moreover, the effect of geometric parameters, elastic pins, and materials on the buckling of the plate is comprehensively investigated.

In this paper, the free vibration of a bi-directional functionally graded (2D-FG) nanobeams is investigated by the finite element method. Nanobeams are made of two kinds of porous materials. The material properties of 2D-FG nanobeams are assumed to vary in both axial and thickness directions according to a power law . Based on Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory, the governing equations of motion are derived.

The present paper aims to show the numerical results of an incompressible fluid flow in curved pipes for three-dimensional space using the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) model. A tetrahedral element is employed to discretize the Navier-Stokes equation for a fluid part and the elastic model for the solid domain.
