This research explores whether Environmental Management Accounting can be applied to assist an Australian cogeneration company in improving both its financial performance as well as its environmental performance. Cogeneration or ‘combined heat and power’, in this particular case, involves the simultaneous production of heat and electricity using a single fuel, that is, natural gas. The heat generated is then used to produce steam to meet the customers’ requirements as well as boost the production of electricity.

This review provides new insight into the RFI and its relationship with productive traits in different species of poultry. In poultry breeding programs, use of the RFI in selection procedures as a negative trait must be adopted to produce an efficient breed with low feed costs and high productivity. From the point of view of an environmental perspective, selecting birds with lower RFI reduces emissions of ammonia and greenhouse gases from poultry houses.

Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province is an agricultural district, which workers in the agricultural sector accounted for more than 60%. The total emissions from open rice straw burning in Quang Ninh district by using research results of Gadde B et al 2009 have similar values by using the ABC EIM guidelines on case of average emissions. Utilizations of rice straw to produce microbiological organic compost is suitable practices that need to study to reduce rice straw open burning activity in the next time.

Carbon pricing is widely recognized as an effective policy instrument for climate change mitigation. Carbon pricing have been imposed in 39 developed countries and eight middle-income countries. Eight more middle-income countries are considering its implementation. Research on landfill gases (LFGs) collection mainly consisting of CH4 and CO2 gases, is not only a solution to decrease environmental risks but also to utilize and generate an alternative clean power source of coal. Many typical landfill cases in Vietnam, which install a recovery system and remove captured CH4 by the flaring methods, are able to contribute to reducing significantly greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with roughly 0.25 tCO2–eq/tons being equivalent to 7.8 million tons of CO2–eq/year.
