Delegation differs from participation in a number of ways: Many leaders define themselves as participative managers if they delegate tasks to their subordinates  more subordinate participation in decision making The goal of delegation is not necessarily to develop employees or create more commitment. Neither does delegation always involve power sharing with employees.

The aim of the research is to explore the effects of Thai culture on the efficacy of Western modelled performance management (PM) in a cross-cultural setting. Thailand is becoming increasingly important to Australian businesses, particularly in view of the ASEAN Economic Community Plan, which is now in its final stages implementation (ASEAN 2015). The primary data for this study was sourced from 43 semistructured and in-depth interviews with 30 participants.

In the process of researching, I have found four ethical issues that employees should be aware of. I wrote four case studies, based on these issues, to use as the method to train the participants. In order to determine which cases to use for the training, I pilot tested the cases with my faculty advisor and the general manager of the store.

The Central Statistics Office has registered increased availability in part-time courses in Ireland over recent years. This study aims to investigate the motivators driving part-time study and the impact studying part-time has on professional and personal lives of full-time employees in Ireland. Utilising a qualitative research approach, data was collected using open ended, semi-structured interviews on six desirable participants and examined using thematic analysis. Extracted information was interpreted and discussed.
