This study analyzes the influence of Arifin Panigoro’s personal branding towards in the supply chain management sector for the the establishment of Medco Energi’s Corporate Culture. Arifin Panigoro was the founder of PT. Meta Epsi Drilling Company (abbreviated as ‘Medco’), an Indonesian Oil Well Drilling Service Company that has been continuously developed into an international scale company, which better known as Medco Energi. It is believed that the values held by Arifin Panigoro have contributed to the company’s development and growth to become the current Medco Energi.

These lessons learned in government regulations and supportive measures were considered appropriate in Vietnam to first establish a formal ESCO market in the country and then expand and develop a market commensurate with the potential. Accordingly, the first step the Government should do is to shape the market through legal documents and guidelines for implementation. Vietnamese government should play a role in managing the quality of ESCO projects and providing financial support to ESCO enterprises and energy users, especially in the early stages of market entry.

Cleaner Production (CP) was fi rst introduced in Vietnam in 1995 by the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). According to UNEP, CP is the continuous application of an integrated preventive environmental strategy to processes, products, and services in order to increase effi ciency and reduce risks to humans and the environment. The  study  draws  from  over  720  sources.  It  includes  activities  undertaken  by  companies  across  the  whole  environmental  supply  chain,  from  R&D,  through  manufacturing  into  distribution,  retail,  installation and maintenance services. Companies are included in the supply chain where 20% of their  turnover is supplied into the LCEGS sector, but importantly only the sales activity relating to this sector  is  included  in  this  study.  This  inclusion  is  akin  to  the  way  other  sectors  of  the  economy,  such  as  aerospace,  are measured.

Business owners generally agree on the severity of several operating cost areas. “Tele- phone Costs and Services” and “Electricity Costs (Rates)” are illustrative. “Cost of Supplies/ Inventories” is also an operating cost on which there is general agreement among owners across all sub-groups.
