The research design was conducted using quantitative approaches. The major findings showed that the students’ proficiency in English did not satisfy the expectations of the stakeholders. Therefore, some practical solutions are given to improve the students’ level of use of English for tourism, including designing English tourism curriculum; building an e-learning system supports students’ self-studying; students’ opportunities to communicate in English, and the assessment processes; strengthen cooperation, learning and exchange with international enterprises.

This paper evaluates sustainable urban bus service quality based on passenger perception and expectation in local tourism destinations in order to attain a comprehension of tourists’ attitudes towards local public transport. The study focuses on the combination of route 101 and 102 by Rapid Penang bus to investigate passenger satisfaction because the bus is the main public transport used by most tourist who use both routes. Data collection by questionnaire survey from 201 valid questionnaires was analysed using sustainable assessment model for both routes.

In theory, the integration of Kano Model and SERVQUAL into Quality Function Deployment is to remove the assumption of linear and to offer innovative input. Kano Model characterizes attributes for product or services based on the level of customer satisfaction towards the attributes. Indirectly it can facilitate SEVQUAL to determine level of priority to the improvement process required by the organisation based on certain categories requested, in which this is going towards into the improvement of customer satisfaction.

Community-based tourism is a form of participatory tourism management, aimed at reviewing the application of the principles of Community Based Tourism (CBT) supply chain in tourism development on Teluk Kiluan Beach and knowing its implications for the welfare of the surrounding community. This study uses a qualitative approach at Teluk Kiluan Tanggamus Beach research site in Lampung Province, and conducts primary data collection with interviews, indepth interviews, and observations from key informants and other supporting informants then as a validity test.

The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between the number of halal tourist arrivals of West Sumatra with economic growth by using the method of test and Granger cause testers Granger in the period 2000–2017. To review this written report, tourism growth is proxy with the number of tourist arrivals (LAR). While the economic consumption of income from tourism (LPAD) is utilized as a placeholder for the increase of tourism as the research.

In this paper the components of tourism infrastructure were investigated by considering the supply chain management effects. One of the most important components of tourism infrastructure is the hotel industry. In recent years, the quantity of means of collective placement in the Republic of Tatarstan increased. In the republic, means of placement of almost all categories are presented, among them there are also representatives of such large hotel chains as Hilton, Marriott, ark Inn, Ramada, Ibis. The food industry is also an integral part of tourism infrastructure of the region.

In this research, the authors used the results of the studies on the economy of the Arctic regions and the data on the Russian Arctic of the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation. Its economic structure includes traditional sectors: reindeer husbandry, hunting, and fishing. Industrial, transport, and energy development of the territories have a negative impact on traditional activities, so that the peoples of the Arctic have to search for new forms and ways of employment, conservation of the environment, and ethno cultural development.

Supply chain and tourism cluster are the two important ways to enhance the competitiveness of regions or industries. By discussing the differences and links between the two, this paper concludes that tourism cluster and supply chain carry features of compatibility and symbiosis. The importance of this research paper is determined by the fact that a significant number of tourism clusters established in the territory of the Russian Federation are not always successful as catalysts for the tourism sector development.

The management of agro-safety tourism is mostly focused on policies; however, there is a lack of coordination and integration of stakeholders in all sectors involved in the supply chain. This research aims to map the internal and external condition of SMEs in supply chain performance of tourism sector and determines the effective strategy to increase the human resource performance for each region. This research was conducted in East Java that has the most SMEs in Indonesia. Sampling was done in two stages, namely (1) selecting districts and (2) selecting MSMEs. The results of the sampling process were taken by 20 MSMEs in each district selected as a sample. SWOT was used as an analysis tool in this study.
