The study investigates Vietnamese non-English-majored freshmen's speaking anxiety. 297 non-English-majored freshmen enrolled at a public university in Vietnam answered the Questionnaire of Speaking Anxiety. The results show that participants had a moderate level of English speaking anxiety, with female students having a higher level of speaking anxiety than male students.

The purpose of this quantitative study was to investigate the perceptions of beginners EFL learners on corrective feedback (CF) in speaking classes in relation to their levels of anxiety. Two questionnaires were used to collect data, The Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) (Horwitz, Horwitz, & Cope1986) and Corrective Feedback Beliefs Scale (CFBS) (Fukuda, 2004).
