Biochar and PGPR applications mitigated the negative influence of salinity stress on plant growth and physiological and biochemical characteristics of eggplant seedlings, enhancing chlorophyll content, plant nutrient element uptake, and antioxidant enzyme activity. The enhanced salinity tolerance due to biochar and PGPR applications could be associated with a significant reduction in Na and Cl uptake, MDA, H2 O2 and EL and an increase in LRWC, chlorophyll content, antioxidant activity and plant nutrient element uptake.

The KAR1 treated seedlings showed improved gas exchange attributes and metal tolerance index. In summary, these findings advocate that KAR1 enhances plant stress tolerance by modulating the antioxidative machinery and reducing the level of stress biomarkers.

The main of two-stage polymorphism was 67.6%, and the Polymorphism Information Content (PIC) ranged between 0 to 0.449 in the bud stage and from 0 to 0.338 from in the seedling stage. Remarkable effects of CCC on radicle thickness were displayed on root cap enlargement under -4 and -8 bars osmotic stress. Worldwide salinity is the foremost soil environmental factor adversely affecting the seed germination, plant growth and yield. Recent studies shows that Lipo Chito Oligosaccharide (LCO-nod factors) as a unique molecule, which is responsible for abiotic stress tolerance. We have previously reported that the seed-specific overexpression of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) Heat Shock Factor A9 (HaHSFA9) enhanced seed longevity in transgenic tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.). Among the seven treatments tested, the treatment P. fluorescens @ 0.8 % + T. harzianum@ 0.8 % + Vermiculite shown the least seed infection of 13.00 per cent, highest seed germination of 91.00 per cent and vigour index of 1753.
