Ensemble forecasting

This study proposes the application of Ensemble Decision Tree Boosted (EDT Boosted) model for forecasting the surface chloride concentration of marine concrete Cs. A database of 386 experimental results was collected from 17 different sources covering twelve variables was used to build and verify the predictive power of the EDT model.

In this study, a logistic regression model is developed to forecast tropical storm (TS) genesis in the Vietnam East Sea from 2012 to 2019. The model incorporates seven potential predictors including dynamic and thermodynamic parameters at formation time retrieved from the WRF-LETKF outputs.

This study applicates the multi–physical method in ensemble Kalman filter determining error of WRF models to forecast the track and intensity of storm Damrey in 2017. Thus, the multi– physical ensemble Kalman filter can forecast the track and intensity of storms affecting Vietnam.
