Hybrids are widely accepted in all crops to improve yield, but genotype × environment interaction plays an important role in achieving high yield and superior quality traits. Six lines and seven testers of Gossypium hirsutum L. varying in seed cotton yield and fiber traits were assessed for hybrid vigor using a line × tester system across three different locations. The objective of this study was to detect influence of genotype x environment interaction on stability of gene action.

The aim of this paper is to test three incremental models on United Arab Emirates budgeting for the period of 1972-2010. The models are the magnitude of change, stability, and budget revenue. The data was obtained from ministry of finance’s publication entitled Leading Financial Visions: 40 Years of Achievements. The findings confirm the use of incremental budgeting by the decision makers in UAE. Environmental factors seem to have an impact on budgetary outcomes.

Alexandria Governorate contracted an international company in the field of municipal solid waste management for the collection, transport and disposal of municipal solid waste. Construction and operation of the sanitary landfill sites were also included in the contract for the safe final disposal of solid waste. To evaluate the environmental impacts associated with solid waste landfilling, leachate and groundwater quality near the landfills were analyzed.
