  • There are many evidences showing the fact that some hard conditions from environment, namely abiotic stress, could make several significantly negative impacts on crop production. However, some plant species can overcome these bad situations by complicated mechanisms. This study has shown the result of the construction the recombinant vector carrying CodA gene which could encode an enzyme, named choline oxidase, and is controlled by Rd29A promoter.

  • Lymphoma represents a heterogeneous group of cancers affecting the lymphatic system, encompassing nonHodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). The majority of NHL cases originate from B cells. HL is characterized by the presence of rare Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg cells. Within the context of the inflammatory response, two SH2 domain-containing protein tyrosine phosphatases (SHPs), namely SHP-1 and SHP-2, serve as negative regulators.

  • The aim of this work was to understand involvement of PARylation in inducing enzymatic antioxidant defence and alternative electron sinks in response to salinity. For this purpose A. thaliana plants were treated with 3-aminobenzamide (3-AB), which is a PARP inhibitor, in the presence of 100 mM NaCl. The 3-AB treatment induced plant fresh weight under control and salinity conditions. Moreover, 100 mM NaCl + 3-AB treated plants had lower lipid peroxidation when compared to 100 mM NaCl group indicating mitigation of oxidative stress.
