A field experiment was conducted to estimate the genetic variability, trait association and path coefficient analysis among the Indian mustard genotypes during rabi, 2019. Analysis of variance revealed the mean sum of squares due to genotypes was highly significant for all the characters studies indicating the existence of ample variability among the genotypes studied. The high GCV and PCV observed for number of siliquae per plant and secondary branches per plant indicated the influence of environment on the expression of these characters were at minimum level.

Genetic mutation, selective pressure for translational efficiency and accuracy, level of gene expression, and protein function through natural selection are all believed to lead to codon usage bias (CUB). Therefore, informative measurement of CUB is of fundamental importance to making inferences regarding gene function and genome evolution.

Analysis of the effect of financial ratios to probability default of Indonesia’s coal mining company
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of debt equity ratio (DER), gross profit margin (GPM), net profit margin (NPM), Time Interest Earned (TIE) and current ratio (CR) to probability bankruptcy in Indonesia’s coal mining company for period 2016 to 2018. This research use model panel data to estimate coefficient model. The results obtained that gross profit margin, EBIT / Interest and Current Ratio have significantly affecting probability bankruptcy.

The experimental was carried out at Indian Institute of Rice Research Farm, ICRISAT, Patencheru, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, during Rabi, 2014-2015 in order to estimate genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance in two hundred genotypes of rice. Analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences among the genotypes for all the characters indicating sufficient variability existed in the present material selected for the study.

The estimates of genotypic correlation coefficients in general were higher than their corresponding phenotypic correlation coefficients indicating strong inherent association among the traits. The seed yield per plant had significant and positive association with number of primary branches plant-1, number of secondary branches plant-1 , number of pods plant-1 , number of seeds plant-1 , biological yield plant-1 , seed yield (kg/ha) harvest index and 100-seed weight at both genotypic as well as phenotypic levels.

A study was undertaken to estimate the heritability, genetic advance and coefficient of variation of yield and yield contributing traits in thirteen genotypes of wheat. The study was conducted in randomized block design (RBD) with three replications at Mountain Agriculture Research and Extension Station, Kargil (SKUAST-Kashmir) during kharif season of 2018. Significant genetic differences were observed for all the quantitative characters except flag leaf width, indicating considerable amount of variation among genotypes.

An experiment was made to assess extant of genetic variability among fifty germplasm accessions of Indian mustard with three check varieties for various quantitative characters, heritability and genetic advance also estimated for such characters. Analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences for all the characters. The genotypes showed moderate to high level of genotypic coefficient of variance (GCV) and phenotypic coefficient of variance (PCV).

Forecasting of sunflower production is of utmost importance in state of Odisha. Forecasted values of area and yield of sunflower are used to forecast production of sunflower. Forecasting done by the help of best fit regression model is quite reliable. Selecting the appropriate models that would fit the data is done through the help of scatter plot of the data. The model to be considered for best fit has to satisfy the error assumptions and must have all the estimated coefficients significant.

Autoregressive Distributed lag (ARDL) “Bound Test” approach is employed for the investigation in this study. Both short-run and long-run coefficients are providing strong evidence of having positive significant association between electricity consumption and GDP. Our long-run results remain robust to different measurements and estimators as well. The study reveals the unidirectional causal flow running from per capita electricity consumption to per capita real GDP in the short run.

An investigation with fourteen genotypes grown under water saving aerobic condition revealed significant difference for all the characters studied except for 1000-grain weight. Number of tillers, and grain yield recorded high phenotypic and high genotypic coefficient of variability. All the characters studied exhibited high heritability and characters like, number of tillers, grain yield and fodder yield recorded high genetic advance as percent over mean.

Little information is available regarding genetic control and inheritance of economically important traits in bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.). Previous genetic studies of this crop used a narrow range of germplasm and in different environmental conditions. Thirty one genotypes of bitter gourd were accessed concerning the variability, heritability and genetic advance for 12 quantitative traits. Analysis of variance showed significant differences among the genotypes for all the characters.

Studies on thirty six blackgram genotypes for the association and path analysis, revealed that, the genotypic correlations were in general higher than the phenotypic correlations and thus suggested that the observed relationships among the characters were due to genetic causes. The traits, number of clusters per plant, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod and 100 seed weight were found to possess positive significant association in desirable direction with grain yield per plant either at both genotypic and phenotypic levels.

The experiment was conducted in randomized block design replicated thrice, for the evaluation of thirteen quantitative traits in twenty rice genotypes. Significant difference for all the quantitative traits was observed among the genotypes indicating presence of variability and scope of selection. Higher estimates of phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV) than genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) for all the traits reflected influence of environmental factor on these traits with variable influence.
