  • In this study, we report the synthesis of LiFePO4 crystalline size around 200nm by solvothermal method, using LiOH.H2O, FeSO4.7H2O, H3PO4 precursors in a mixture of ethylene glycol (EG) and deionized water (DI water). Moreover, we also used ascorbic acid as an agent for preventing the oxidation of Fe2+ to Fe3+ .

  • The present work focuses on studying the optical properties of the pristine PEDOT:PSS and the PEDOT:PSS modified with de-ionized water, ethylene glycol and MWCNT. The effect of various additives on the absorption, the refractive index, and the dielectric constant has been inspected. The refractive index dispersion has been analyzed using the single oscillator model developed by Wemple and DiDomenico.

  • In the present study, experimental investigation on thermal conductivity of green nanofluids prepared from coconut fibre-based nanoparticles and suspended in 60:40 ethylene glycol (EG) water (W) mixture was carried out. The measurement of thermal conductivity was conducted at 15 °C to 60 °C at mass fractions of 0.04 wt%, 0.08 wt%, 0.5 wt% and 1 wt%. The results show deterioration in thermal conductivity with an increasing temperature. Also the deterioration increased as the mass fraction increased.

  • The present study was undertaken to study the EC50 of aqueous extract of Dolichos biflorus seeds against ethylene glycol induced renal stone in rats. Hyperoxaluria and Calcium oxalate deposition in the kidney was induced by oral administration of ethylene glycol (EG) and ammonium chloride in the drinking water to a final concentration of 0.75% and 2%, respectively for 28 days.

  • Due to its unique thermal properties, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been used as additives in order to increase thermal conductivity and other mechanical properties of nanofluids. There have been many studies of thermal conductivity for single phase fluids containing CNTs; however, most commercial coolants are two-phase fluids, such as the mixture of ethylene glycol and water (E/W). Similarly, there are some models that can be used to predict thermal conductivity of single phase fluids containing CNTs but not yet as a model for thermal conductivity of the E/W solution containing CNTs.
