Ex post facto study

The government's performance in carrying out good governance is a prerequisite for realizing the aspirations of society and achieving the ideals of the nation and state. This study analyzes the effect of Accountability and Internal Control on Good Governance, and supply chain governance, and its impact on government performance. This study uses an ex post facto quantitative approach, with survey methods and correlational designs.

The study was carried out to examine the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents and factors influencing entrepreneurial behaviour. Ex-post facto research design was followed. The study was conducted purposively in East Khasi Hills and Ri-bhoi districts. Two C&RD blocks from each district were selected purposively. The increasing penetration of ICT’S in agriculture scenario makes an opportunity to disseminate the useful information more widely among the farming community. The study was carried in Heggadadevanakote taluk of Mysuru district during 2019 to assess the social capital of Jenukuruba tribal women. Ex post facto research design was employed for the study. With respect to overall social capital status of Jenukuruba tribal women, It was found that there was medium level social capital (46.67 %) followed by low (33.33 %) and high level (20.00 %).

The present investigation was carried out in Mahaboobnagar district of Telangana. Ex-post facto research design was followed selecting 120 respondents at random from four mandals of twelve villages of the district. We studied knowledge of farmers on various IWM practices of major crops as recommended by DOAs, ANGRAU and PJTSAU which were suitable to the study area were prepared after consultation with subject matter specialists.

WADI project, though the name derived from a Gujarati term for orchards, works as a livelihood project for socio-economic development of tribal people throughout India. Being funded by NABARD and in Odisha implemented by ITDA, it is operationalised in most of the tribal dominated districts and is a holistic approach for the sustainable development of tribal livelihood. Ex Post Facto Study conducted in Champua Subdivision of Keonjhar district of Odisha taking the WADI adopting and WADI non-adopting tribal people as respondents shows the differences in development of both the groups.

The present study was conducted to assess the impact of agritourism as perceived by its stakeholders. The sample comprised of forty-five Agritourism Centres (ATCs) drawn from two states i.e. Maharashtra (n=30) and Goa (n=15). The total number of visitors selected for the study was 200, thus consisting of 100 visitors each from respective states. It followed an ex-post facto research design and was purposively conducted in Maharashtra and Goa. The impact was measured in terms of change in employment days and perceived overall socio-economic changes.

The study was conducted at Coimbatore, Erode and Tiruppur districts of Tamil Nadu. From each of districts three blocks were selected purposively and a sample of 20 certified organic farmers were selected from each of the blocks through purposive sampling. A total of 180certified organic farmers were surveyed for the study. From the study area half (50.55 %) of the certified organic farmers had high level of perception on eco-friendly conservation practices followed by low (26.11 %) and medium (23.34 %).

This study was conducted in Adilabad, Khammam and Warangal districts of Telangana. Ex post-facto research design was followed in this study, since different variables chosen for the study had already occurred. An effort was made to document the indigenous technology of tribal farmers. For testing the rationality of the ITKs, a questionnaire containing lists of ITKs was prepared and exposed to the scientists for judging their rationality and validity on a three point scale wherein, 3 is rational, 2 undecided and 1 is irrational.

Present investigation conducted in Nanded district in Marathwada region of Maharashtra state. From this district four talukas were selected based on considerable farmer suicide cases. Twenty seven villages were selected randomly based on considerable farmer suicide cases. Forty victims were selected randomly for the study. The ex-post facto research design was used for the study. The data were collected with help of pretested interview schedule from the victim’s households as per their convenience at their home.

The research study was conducted on impact of training programme on knowledge, perception and attitude of stakeholders towards Bhoochetana programme. The Raichur, Koppal and Bellary districts were purposively selected based on their maximum area under cotton cultivation. The random sampling procedure is being used to identify 180 beneficiaries. The ex-post-facto research design is used in this study. It was revealed that cent per cent of the respondents had knowledge about the improved hybrids which were suited to their region.
