  • For this purpose, it has been attempted to determine new geological, seismological and environmental data by examining a large number of original sources, records and old international earthquake catalogs, other than the existing national catalogs used in seismicity studies in Turkey. In this context, a new local and updated historical earthquake catalog was prepared for İzmir and its immediate vicinity. The data obtained from the records show that the maximum intensity of some destructive historical earthquakes in the İzmir region was X.

  • The Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) shows the relationship between economic development, which is proxied in per capita income, and environmental quality. This study aims to view the existence of the EKC by arranging the distribution of 62 countries into four sub-samples based on per capita income from 1992 to 2017. By applying panel data, the model uses the Error Correction Mechanism (ECM) method to see the effect of economic growth on environmental quality (CO2 emission) in both the short and the long term.

  • The industrial sector is consuming 35% of the total energy production in Pakistan. Furthermore, many emphases are given in this domain during the past few decades. Energy crises have incredibly influenced the industrial sector which affects the country’s economy directly. Electricity saving is possible in the industrial sector by using techniques of energy management (EM). By using this technique, we can save enough energy that will offer financial and conservational help in upcoming.

  • In lateral epicondylitis, even in the absence of apparent instability, subtle instability can be found under anesthesia. We wanted to ascertain the following: (1) how many elbows surgically treated with lateral epicondylitis showed subtle instability during examination under anesthesia (EUA), (2) how effective magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was in predicting subtle instability, and (3) if any difference existed in preoperative clinical data between elbows with and without subtle instability during EUA.

  • This paper aims to examine the effect of crude oil price volatility, the internet, and inflation on economic growth in ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand). To test this effect, we use the panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag model and panel data with annual time series for the period from 1995 to 2018. The test results show that only the internet affects economic growth in the long run, and this effect is positive.

  • The main objective of this study is to empirically test whether there exist short run and long run causality between, residential electricity consumption (REC), industrial electricity consumption (IEC) and economic growth in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Time series data for this study spans from 1990 to 2019. The study adopts granger causality and co. Integration analysis to estimate a vector error correction model (VECM). Results from error correction model show that there exist long run co. integration relationship between targeted variables.

  • The climatic parameters such as Rainfall, mean daily temperature, Wind Speed, relative humidity are spatial and changing with time space and position. That directly affects the availability of basic resources such as surface runoff, vegetation, soil health and quality needed for betterment of sustainability of human being. The predicting the surface runoff is complex and uncertain. It depended of these climatic parameters. Hence, their behaviour needed to be understood before putting in the hydrologic model.

  • This paper aims to calculate individual bank efficiency based on cross-sectional study data and output-oriented super-efficiency data envelopment analysis model of a slack variable. Then, the panel data model is used to analyze the dynamic efficiency and continuity of the operating performance and to assess the deferred effects of Taiwan’s banks as a whole and individually. The empirical result shows that all efficiency values have intertemporal or multistage deferred dynamic sustainability. With a mean value of continuity of all efficiency values of up to 89.
