In ebook "Dielectric properties of isolated clusters: Beam deflection studies" a broad range of state-of-the-art methods to determine properties of clusters are presented. The experimental setup and underlying physical concepts of these experiments are described. Furthermore, existing theoretical models to explain the experimental observations are introduced and the possibility to deduce structural information from measurements of dielectric properties is discussed.

The rest of this paper is organized as follows. Section II presents the proposed model the data pre-processing and model architecture. In Section III, we describe our experimental setup, the utilized performance metrics, our experimental results, and the comparison of our work with the change of the proposed protocol hyperparameters. The neutron-rich nuclei 63,65Cr were produced at the RIBF facility at RIKEN in the first campaign of the “Shell Evolution And Search for Two-plus energies At RIBF” (SEASTAR) project. The preliminary results of in-beam gamma ray spectroscopy of these nuclei, the detail of experimental setup and the particle identification method are presented.

This paper presents a multi-task learning framework where the DNN acoustic model is simultaneously trained using both a limited amount of native (matched) transcription and a larger set of mismatched transcription. Our experiments on Georgian data from the IARPA Babel program show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper proposes an accurate control method for position of a pneumatic cylinder using on-off solenoid valves in combination with a programmable logic controller. In this review, important parameters used in evaluation of plant resistance ability against salinity stress are discussed, which highlights the necessity to obtain multi-sets of biological data ranging from analyses of morphological alterations to physiological, biochemical and molecular responses, as well as by performing -omics studies to find out network of salinity-responsive pathways. Literature review also demonstrates that the relevance of salinity condition setup in terms of concentration and duration is required in experimental design.

A Solar Photovoltaic-Thermoelectric generator hybrid system is analyzed in the present study. The experimental setup was examined under Udaipur climatic conditions (24°35′7″ N; 73°42′45″ E). The I-V, P-V characteristics and efficiency of sub systems and hybrid system were estimated. The ambient temperature, the solar irradiation, the PV module surface and rear temperature, hot and cold side temperature of TEG, wind velocity affects the performance of the system. The overall efficiency of hybrid system was observed to be higher than the PV system alone.

The main purpose of the present work is to modify and enhance the existing fatigue rig which can be used to perform fatigue experiments on different sections including pipe sections. The structure of this paper is as follows. Section 2 describes the experimental setup used for the fatigue rig, describing the original design and current modifications which includes introducing two new load cells, plastic rollers and sliding flexible jaws to accommodate wide range of section sizes and shapes. Then we describe the instrumentation and data acquisition.

The pH evolution over steel surface in confined conditions was monitored. In this study, the experimental pH was compared with that calculated using a two-dimensional transport-reaction model only in the case of a confined iron surface.
