Out of total 50 motifs, the top scored 5 motifs were selected and arranged in different ways using rotation, flipping, to form different repeats brick, block dihedral, half drop e.t.c. The developed repeats were assessed on the parameters like size of the motif, placement of the motif and overall appearance.

  • The present study highlights the consumer acceptability of developed designs inspired from Molela craft of Rajasthan on women apparel items. Ethnic motifs of Molela craft were collected, screened and adapted to develop 30 new designs. These designs were evaluated by panel of experts to select two best designs for each of the five selected women apparels in best placement. Thus, finally selected ten adapted motifs were applied through stencil printing technique on five women apparel items. Their cost effectiveness was also judged along with profit margin.

  • This paper reports the results of a preliminary experiment on the detection of semantic variants of terms in a French technical document. The general goal of our work is to help the structuration of terminologies. Two kinds of semantic variants can be found in traditional terminologies : strict synonymy links and fuzzier relations like see-also. We have designed three rules which exploit general dictionary information to infer synonymy relations between complex candidate terms. The results have been examined by a human terminologist.

  • The development of Dialog-Based ComputerAssisted Language Learning (DB-CALL) systems requires research on the simulation of language learners. This paper presents a new method for generation of grammar errors, an important part of the language learner simulator. Realistic errors are generated via Markov Logic, which provides an effective way to merge a statistical approach with expert knowledge about the grammar error characteristics of language learners. Results suggest that the distribution of simulated grammar errors generated by the proposed model is similar to that of real learners.
