Graduation thesis "A study on using podcasts to improve the second year English majors’ vocabulary at Hai Phong University of Management and Technology" explores how using podcasts can help students study English vocabulary effectively. It also aims to find out problems faced by students while learning vocabulary by using podcasts as well as to provide some recommendations for improvement.

Biotic and abiotic stress is major challenge for higher production of tomatoes. Thrips complex are important sucking pests which also cause more damage as vector species for virus diseases. So controlling the vector by screening against thrips damage/preference is the major concern for screening and developing lines resistant to thrips.

Equity holdings of family firms represent an important form of company ownership in South-East Asia. In order to enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance, listed companies have been required to disclose more information on their director and officer insurance (hereafter D&O insurance) purchases in Taiwan. This publicly available data enables this study to investigate how family firms react to litigation risks in terms of their D&O insurance. Using the D&O insurance coverage of Taiwan firms as a proxy for management legal liability coverage, this study made two major findings.

An elderly or old age woman comprises the later part of life; the period of life after youth and middle age. The elderly women lived in vulnerable conditions and don’t have any vocational skills in order to earn their livelihood as their whole life is spent doing household work and their physical health didn’t allowed them to work. They faced vulnerability in the psychological, economical, physical and social areas.
