Anterolateral thigh flap (ALT flap) is first found and used by Song in 1984. Classified in the perforator type flaps, ALT flaps is blood supplied by the perforators of the descending branch of the lateral circumflex thigh artery. The flap is the first of choice in many cases, those need a large soft tissue for reconstruction, especially in the cervico facial area thanks to many advantages of the flap: constants and relievable anatomic structure, large blood supply, flexible in use as well as other advantages.

Nevus of Ota is a facial congenital pigmentation disorder affecting mainly the face. Nowadays, different types of pigmentation lasers have been used to treat Nevus of Ota. Very few research to address the treatment results have been performed in Vietnam. Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Qs Alexandrite lasers in treatment of Nevus of Ota in Vietnamese people. Method: 35 patients with Nevus of Ota were treated by 8 sessions of Qs Alexandrite laser 755 nm at monthly intervals. Clinical improvement was evaluated based on color of the Nevus of Ota before, during and after treatment.

In children, the symptoms are most often caused by the androgens (male-type hormones) that the tumor might secrete. The most common symptoms are excessive growth of facial and body hair (such as in the pubic and underarm area). The male hormones may also cause enlargement of the penis in boys or the clitoris in girls. If the tumor secretes estrogens (female-type hormones), it can cause girls to start puberty early. This can cause the breasts to develop and menstrual periods to start. In boys, estrogen-producing tumors may cause breast enlargement.
