Factors affecting green investment

The VECM model estimation results show that in the short term, all three factors, namely GDP per capita, foreign direct investment, and trade openness, have an impact on reducing CO2 emissions in Vietnam. Mean while, the results of the Johansen cointegration analysis show that GDP per capita and foreign direct investment have a negative impact on reducing CO2 emissions in the long run.

This study identifies and measures the factors affecting green investment in Vietnamese using the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) methodology to process the dataset from 208 businesses in different industries in 2018.
