The effects of kelp meal (Ascophylum nodosum) supplementation on immune response, virus replication and blood parameters of mink inoculated with AMDV were assessed.

The present study was conducted in all the six different agro-climatic zones of Punjab to analyze the demographic profile of stall fed vis-à-vis extensive rearing goat farmers. Most of goat farmers of Group I (Stall fed) and Group II (Extensive/Grazing) were in age group of 31-60 years, followed by ≤ 30 years and then > 60 years. All the goat farmers were male.

The study was conducted in district Saharanpur during 2014 to investigate the socioeconomic profiles of rural rice farmers. To this end, primary data was collected through structured questionnaire using a sample of size eighty allocating to four block selected purposively, each comprising two villages selected on the basis of proportional sampling technique. The present study was conducted in Adilabad district of Telangana to study the profile and employment generation of tribal farmers. Total 120 respondents were randomly selected for the study and interviewed. Most of the (47.50 %) respondents belonged to medium category followed by low (30.80%) and high (21.70%) employment generation.

The present study was carried out in Warangal district of Telangana state by selecting the 60 beneficiary farmers of mobile phone based agro-advisory services. The specific objectives of the study were to know the usefulness and perception towards mobile phone based agro advisories. The results showed that 48.33 per cent of respondents indicated as mobile phone based agro-advisories were moderately useful and the majority (50.00%) of the respondents had positive perception towards the mobile phone based agro-advisories.
