Some species are exceptionally common in landscapes heavily impacted by humans, such as agricultural lands. This study was carried out over a period of 2 years (July 2012 to June 2014) in the arid agricultural landscape of Pothwar Plateau, Pakistan, to identify adaptations that govern bird distribution and abundance across 2 different cropping systems associated with differences in water availability. We used regular surveys and foraging observations to quantify species abundance, distribution, and habits. We then examined morphological correlations with ecological attributes.

The objective of this study was to describe temporal variations in the diet and parasitological aspects in Liolaemus parvus. In order to examine the diet, we determined the volume, numerousness, and frequency of occurrence for each prey item and calculated the relative importance index. We removed nematodes from the stomach and estimated parasitic indicators. Liolaemus parvus presents an active searching mode.

The ecological niche of Bombyx mori has changed greatly since domestication from B. mandarina, and its olfactory response to environmental odorants clearly decreased. The flathead grey mullet, Mugil cephalus, is a mullet of the genus Mugil in the family Mugilidae, Kingdom: Animalia; Class: Actinopterygii; and Order: Mugiliformes; is a brackish water fish also can thrive well in fresh water and marine waters. Study on the food and feeding habits of Mugil cephalus was conducted between April, 2016 to March, 2017 at monthly intervals from Krishnapatnam and Mypadu coasts of Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh. Observation of feeding habits indicated flathead grey mullet as omnivorous feeder.

Since there is currently a lack of data on the natural history of Odorrana chapaensis, an amphibian species listed in the IUCN Red List (2019), we herein provided the feeding ecology of this amphibian species is virtually lacking. We herein provide data about the diet of O. chapaensis based on the results of our field work in Ngoc Chien Commune, Muong La District and Xim Vang Commune, Bac Yen District, Son La Province, Vietnam.

The study of habitat distribution of fruit-feeding butterflies in the tropical rainforest is important for understanding their diversity in the tropics and for determining responses of butterflies to forest disturbance. Some previously works demonstrate the construction and methods of using the portable bait traps for collecting and taxonomical and ecological studies of tropical butterflies (De Vries, 1988; Austin, Riley, 1995; Tangah et al., 2004; Hamer et al., 2006; Hayes et al., 2009). The current work is the first to describe the bait trap use in Vietnam.

In this study, we focused on the feeding ecology of E. multifasciatus to understand spatial, temporal, and sexual variations in the dietary composition of E. multifasciatus. A total of 323 food items, viz. 288 animal items and 29 plant items were found in 176 stomachs of skinks.
