This study work was conducted to determine whether eating habits could serve as an alternative medication in reducing blood pressure among hypertensive patients. Information was collected on patients with hypertension cases who were advised to be taking regular diets and avoid some types of feeding, such as starchy foods, foods with cholesterols and drinking alcohol.

Different forest vegetations provide herbivorous small mammals with different resources, forcing adaptation since food habits depend on available resources. We expect differences in vegetation to be reflected in the size and shape of the skull and mandible as a result of potentially different feeding resources.

The aim of the present study is to provide morphometric relationships for the Mediterranean wide-eyed flounder Bothus podas (Delaroche, 1809), to identify possible sexual dimorphism, and to determine the feeding habits and the functional role of the species in the ecosystem. Sampling was carried out during a trawl survey off the coast of northern Crete in early May of 2015. A total of 425 specimens were examined (175 males and 250 females; total length (TL) range: 6.2–13.5 cm and 6.0–15.1 cm, respectively).

Some species are exceptionally common in landscapes heavily impacted by humans, such as agricultural lands. This study was carried out over a period of 2 years (July 2012 to June 2014) in the arid agricultural landscape of Pothwar Plateau, Pakistan, to identify adaptations that govern bird distribution and abundance across 2 different cropping systems associated with differences in water availability. We used regular surveys and foraging observations to quantify species abundance, distribution, and habits. We then examined morphological correlations with ecological attributes.

Because of their feeding habits, which are affected by their ranking in the last steps of the food chain, the teeth of carnivores are subjected to great forces during the breaking up and chewing of food when they are hunting. In this sense, missing teeth and tooth anomalies are common in carnivores. This research was based on an examination of the properties of the tooth structures of 25 wolf specimens collected in Turkey between 2014 and 2018.

Ladybird beetles (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) are highly diverse in their feeding habits. Most of them are specialist feeders, while some can have a broad spectrum of prey. As a representative group of generalists, the tribe Coccinellini includes many aphidophagous species, but members of this tribe also feed on other hemipterous insects including coccids, psyllids and whiteflies.

As economical traits, food habits domestication can reduce production cost in aquaculture. However, the molecular mechanism underlying food habits domestication has remained elusive. Mandarin fish (Siniperca chuatsi) only feed on live prey fish and refuse artificial diets.

A domestic pigeon which was brought to SPCA, Chennai by a pet owner having 50 pigeons was referred for disease diagnosis with the history of sudden mortality and respiratory distress. The remaining ailing birds were inspected and were found to be lethargic with respiratory distress. Necropsy examination revealed grayish white foci scattered on the liver parenchyma. Liver impression smears and heart blood smears were suggestive of Pasteurella spp. Cultural examination of heart blood confirmed P. multocida. Antibiotic sensitivity assay revealed high sensitivity to enrofloxacin.

A total of 40 faecal samples were examined from pigeons belonging to a pet owner at Chennai with the history of inappetance and blood tinged droppings. Microscopic examination of droppings revealed oocysts of Eimeria spp. The birds became active and alert with normal feeding habits after 7 days of treatment with amprolium soluble powder.

The study of food and feeding habits of Bos frontalis was aimed at extracting information regarding the conservation of Mithun (Bos Frontalis) whose population are declining at fast pace even with the distinct title of State animal of Nagaland and also their feeding habits. The main food preference of Bos frontalis were the leaf parts of the plants. The data showed that the leaf part of the plants were preferred by Bos frontalis almost 80% of the plant species the whole plant parts which consists of plant species where the leaves twigs and shoots were feed on by Bos frontalis.

The start of complementary feeding in infancy plays an essential role in promoting healthy eating habits. Evidence shows that it is important what infants are offered during this first introduction of solid foods: e.g. starting exclusively with vegetables is more successful for vegetable acceptance than starting with fruits.

This study provides an understanding of the feeding habit and intensity of the mudskipper Periophthalmodon septemradiatus, which was a potential aquarium pet, by analyzing its relative gut length (RGL) and gastro-somatic (GaSI) indexes. Fish specimens were caught with fishing rods in an area from the Hau River’s estuary in Soc Trang province to its upstream in An Giang province during a period of one year from August 2017 to July 2018.

One might expect the eects on buyers and suppliers to be symmetric: for both the current owner and a potential buyer of a particular used car, the increased cost of usage for the current owner of that car if he or she keeps the car will exactly equal the increased cost of usage for the potential buyer, if the two have similar driving habits. In other words, one might expect an increase in gasoline prices to reduce the willingness-to-pay for a particular car by about the same amount that it reduces a potential supplier's willingness-to-accept for that car.
