  • The purpose of this study is to identify the sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) by using factor analysis (exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis). Using a survey questionnaire, data were collected 230 respondents from private hospitals in Malaysia. The findings found that the factor analysis for SSCM model was fit and acceptable with four dimensions (environment, information and communications technology, culture change, and risk management).

  • This study intends to gain the better understanding on current status quo of website marketing activities among enterprises in Danang hotel industry. An observation form was constructed based on the ICTR model proposed by Wang & Russo (2007) with four dimensions including Information, Communication, Transaction and Relationship, to examine all 47 4- & 5-star hotels in Danang.   • This paper reviews the empirical studies on washback effects of assessment on language learning. The study begins with the definitions of washback, its equivalent terms, and dimensions of washback. Then it summarizes the empirical studies of washback on three most frequently investigated areas, namely learners’ motivation, behaviours, and achievement. Finally, it examines the mechanism by which washback on learning is generated. The findings show how complex and context-dependent test washback is and, based on these findings, the authors provide some recommendations for future research.

  • The purpose of the study is to determine the consumer satisfaction of service quality offered at supermarket in Mysore city. The data was collected from 200 respondents through structures questionnaire by using five point likert scale and was analyzed using one sample t test and multiple regression. The five dimensions such as tangibles, customer knowledge, responsiveness, convenience (dependent dimension) and competence.   • This paper develops an index of bank stability for 66 commercial banks operating in the Indian banking industry for the period 2007/08-2016/17. An index is obtained by combining five dimensions, namely capital adequacy, asset quality, management efficiency, earning capacity and liquidity. The choice of dimensions is derived from the CAMEL framework as defined by the Reserve Bank of India, which is the modus operandi for measurement of banking stability. The aggregation of dimensions is done using the weights calculated by employing PCA approach.

  • Our study investigates how ultimate ownership structure and the corporate tax rate affect the equilibrium trade-off relation between manager ownership and debt in reducing agency costs. Considering the presence of the controlling shareholder, we find that higher corporate tax rates strengthen the trade-off relation between manager ownership and debt while higher control rights held by the controlling shareholder weaken it as well as the strengthening effect of corporate tax rate.
