The paper generalizes one practical tool for analyzing the structural dynamics for the high-speed railway bridge based on Cast3M open-source. Compared with the classical approach with the analytical formulation, KD-Railway developed by the finite element method allows defining the structure with complex geometry and considering a different type of structure (truss, cable, hybrid composite) or the structure-soil interaction.

This study aimed to investigate the pile group effect subjected to lateral load. To achieve this scope, the finite element analysis program Plaxis 3D was used to model a single pile and a pile group with a depth of 18 m. The 2x2 pile groups spaced at 3D and 5D, where D is the pile diameter, were evaluated.

Photoelasticity images of pulsed laser ablation in water and in air were simulated by Finite Element Method. In the paper "Compare transient stress induced in in-air and in-water laser ablation using simulation method", the Von Mises stress distribution in the target is deduced from the simulated images and is compared between the two-ablation regimes. The result confirms that pulse laser ablation in the water can induced a stress about 100 times higher than that induced in ablation in the air.

Bài viết này trình bày kết quả nghiên cứu việc sử dụng nội suy hàm cơ sở bán kính Wendland để tính véc tơ trọng số cho phương pháp RBF-FD giải phương trình Poisson trong không gian 3 chiều. Kết quả thử nghiệm số cho thấy nghiệm của phương pháp RBF-FD sử dụng hàm Wendland có độ chính xác tốt so với nghiệm của phương pháp phần tử hữu hạn (FEM - Finite Element Method).

This research aims to numerically simulate the performance of the tested PC utility poles using Applied Element Method (AEM) and Finite Element Method (FEM). The simulation results demonstrate that both AEM and FEM effectively reproduce the load-displacement relationship observed in the test.
