  • In this study, a surrogate model based on artificial neural networks (ANN) will be established to predict the mechanical behaviors of the plastic Primitive TPMS reinforced beams. Finite element analysis (FEA) simulation results of different numbers of reinforcement layers and volume fractions were adopted as the model data, the robust model have been owing to a hyperparameter tuning investigation.

  • The article "Static behavior of FGP half-annular nanoplates resting on elastic foundation using nonlocal elasticity theory" presents an algorithm finite element for static bending analysis of the functionally graded porous (FGP) half-annular nanoplate resting on the elastic foundation (EF) using nonlocal elasticity theory. The FGP materials with two-parameter are the volume fraction index (k) and the porosity volume fraction (5) in two cases of even and uneven porosity. The EF includes Winkler-stiffness (k₁) and Pasternak- stiffness (k₂).

  • Bioinspired structures are remarkable porous structures with great strengthto-weight ratios. Hence, they have been applied in various fields including biomedical, transportation, and aerospace materials, etc. Recent studies have shown the significant impact of the plastic 3D printed triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS) structure on the cement beam including increasing the peak load, reducing the deflection, and improving the ductility.

  • Dual formulations for finite element magnetostatic and magnetodynamic subproblems are developed to correct the inaccuracies near edges and corners of thin shell magnetic models. Such models replace volume thin regions by surfaces but neglect border effects in the vicinity of their edges and corners, which can cause inaccuracy in solving thin sheel problems.

  • An iterative sub-problem method for thin shell finite element magnetic models is herein performed to correct the inaccuracies near edges and corners arising from thin shell models (e.g., cover of transformers, thin shells, steel laminations). Volume thin regions are replaced by surfaces but neglect border effects in the vicinity of their edges and corners.

  • : Fluid vents in the Sea of Marmara were discovered and investigated by several studies. In this paper, a numerical model is created for the first time to determine the possible transport mechanism behind those fluid emissions at the seafloor. The finite volume method is used for numerical simulations by implementing a commercial finite volume code, ANSYS-Fluent. The thermal and physical rock properties used in our models are taken from previous studies.

  • The current work investigates the effect of the nodal mass on the macroscopic mechanical behavior of nanoporous metals using the Finite Element Method. A nodal corrected beam modeling concept is introduced that allows local incorporation of the effective elastoplastic mechanical behavior of the nodal mass in the nodal area of a representative volume element (RVE).

  • In this article, we propose a two-process coupling subproblem technique for improving the errors that overcome thin shell assumptions. This technique is based on the subproblem method to couple SPs in two-processes. The first scenario is an initial problem solved with coils/stranded inductors together with thin region models. The obtained solutions are then considered as volume sources for the second scenario, including actual volume improvements that scope with the thin shell assumptions.

  • In air pollution studies at metropolis, as in Bangkok or Saigon, installation of new stations for monitoring dangerous pollution sources is costly. Using statistical models and analyzing data sets collected at good stations to predict air pollution levels at malfunctioning stations, therefore, are highly demanding. We study air pollution prediction by geo-statistical methods with a realistic dataset costly observed in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • A numerical model based on the 2D Boussinesq equations has been developed using the Finite Volume Method. The model was verified against experimental data for the case of wave breaking on a sloping beach. Simulated results by the model showed that the model has good capability of simulation of waves in the nearshore area. Numerical simulation was also carried out for the problem of waves on a plane beach with a breakwater and submerged dunes. Simulated results were compared with those computed by MIKE 21.
