Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS), a type of conducting polymer has caught lots of attraction from scientists for its excellent properties as lowcost, non-toxic, etc. This also is a potential material for various applications as transparent electrodes, flexible and stretchable devices, thus improving the electrical properties of this polymer plays an important role.

High-performance flexible multilayer transparent conducting electrodes (TCE) based on silver nanowires (AgNWs), graphene oxide (GO), and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) materials were successfully fabricated by spin-coating technique.

In this work, a range of factors was investigated for the synthesis of silver nanowires. Nickel chloride showed to be a promising controlling agent for the scale-up synthesis of silver nanowires. Other factors such as reaction temperature, concentrations of surfactant, precursor, controlling agent, and the effect of degassing were studied and optimized. The synthesized silver nanowire sample was applied for flexible electrode fabrication.
