An experiment was conducted for the development of specific foliar formulation to increase the flower characters and yield in Jasminum sambac in the field level for two years 2018-2020. Two or three micro nutrients deficiencies occurring simultaneously in the flower crop is difficult to be corrected by spraying a single nutrient or multiple sprays. The investigation was conducted with Ramanathapuram Gundu variety with six treatments with three replications and in RBD model.

Field experiment was conducted to find out the influence of foliar nutrition on growth and seed yield of pulse crop during rabi 2013-14. The experiment was laid out in split plot design and replicated thrice. The pulse crop viz., blackgram, greengram, cowpea and horse gram were tried as treatments under main plot. Foliar nutrient sprays viz., 2 % DAP, 1 % KCL, 1% boron, 1 % MgSO4, 1 % ZnSO4 and without foliar spray were fitted under sub plot. Foliar spray treatment with the aqueous solution of nutrients was done on 30 and 45 DAS of pulse crop.

A field study was conducted during Kharif 2014 and Kharif 2015 to evaluate the bioefficacy of fungicides (both solo and combination products) against stem rot disease of paddy. Different fungicides were tested either as seed treatment (ST), seedling dip (SD), foliar spray (FS) or in combinations. Disease was measured in 0-9 standard evaluation scale and scores were transformed into percent disease index (PDI). PDI of Kharif 2014 and Kharif 2015 were pooled to get the mean PDI.

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2015-16 and 2016-17 at the Regional Research Station (Old Alluvial Zone), Dakshin Dinajpur under Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya to study the effect of seed priming and foliar application of micronutrients on direct seeded upland rice (Oryza sativa L). The experiment was laid out in factorial randomized block design with nine treatment combinations comprising seed priming and foliar spray of micronutrients. Treatments were replicated thrice. Significantly highest yield (3667.03 kg ha-1 ) was recorded in seed priming with 2.2% CaCl2.

Effect of foliar spray of various nutrients on yield attributes, yield and economics of rainfed rice
A recent trend in the fertilizer industry to shift from ammonium sulphate to urea and from superphosphate to non-sulphur phosphatic fertilizer may induce more widespread sulphur deficiency in lowland rice. Keeping all above facts in view the present study was undertaken to find out the nutrient economy through foliar application of fertilizer and to assess the economic feasibility of various treatments.

Different nutrient solutions alone or in combinations were applied as foliar spray on Asiatic lilium hybrid Tresor and evaluated for different characters. Plants sprayed with only water were taken as control. Other treatments were done with the dose of nutrients used in preparation of tissue culture Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium (1962) in different combinations.

An experiment was conducted in 12 year old planted guava (Psidium guajava L.) garden at Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) during the year 2014-15. The treatments comprised nine combinations of three ZnSO4 levels (0.50, 0.75, 1.00% solution) and three borax levels (0.2, 0.4, 0.6% solution) and one control of water spray. These 10 treatments were tested in factorial R.B.D. on guava.

An experiment was conducted to evaluate calcium chloride (CaCl2) as inducers in induce resistance against late blight of potato caused by Phytophthora infestans. Two per cent CaCl2 used in 9 treatments for different time durations (1/2h, 1h, 2h, 4h, 6h, 8h, 10h, 12h and 0h) and foliar spray and resulted that CaCl2 have ability to reduce disease severity from 22.65 to 48.00 per cent against 57.00 per cent in case of control.

The study indicated that the PPFM and PGRs could be effectively improving drought tolerance capacity of tomato crop under drought. Among the PGRs and different concentrations of PPFM used, PPFM (2%) was found to superior in improving RWC, photosynthetic rate, SPAD value and proline content. The anti oxidant enzyme, catalase activity was enhanced by PPFM (2%) and salicylic acid (100 ppm) treatments which has the ability to protect the plant under abiotic stress by nullifying oxidative damage.

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2014 at N. E. Borlaug Crop Research Centre of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar to assess the effect of foliar application of nutrients on ecomomics of urdbean. The experiment was conducted in RBD (randomized block design) having twelve treatments with three replications. The data on economic studies revealed that the maximum biological yield, net returns and B: C ratio were made under T12 (2% Urea + 2 % SSP + 0.1 % Zinc EDTA + 0.2 % B (Borax), whereas, the minimum remained under the water spray.
