The prime goals of the current paper investigate the influence of SCM practices on organizational performance with moderating roles of ‘governor’ and ‘collaboration. The organizational performance was measured on the basis of three dimensions such as economic, social and environmental aspects. Data was collected from Thai food manufacturers and was tested visa Measurement Model and Structural Equation modeling. The study highlights influence of sustainable procurement and sustainable distribution or logistics to determine the organizational performance in Thai food industry.

The objective of the study is to determine the main behavior affecting the adoption of halal food logistics (HFL) services among the SMEs - food and beverages manufacturers in Malaysia. In this study, a performance of shrimp paste production is measured by using simulation approach. A discrete event simulation model is developed to illustrate the processes in the production line which involved four major processes. From the model, it is estimated that the average process time taken to produce 2000 pieces of shrimp paste is 235.13 minutes while the average waiting time taken in the operation system is 89.21 minutes. The findings also show that the bottleneck of the production process is found to be at packaging process and some of the resources are not fully utilized.

Despite the data driven supply chain (DDSC) significance, the extant researches have a limited attention on how the DDSC effects to supply chain capabilities (SCC) to enhance the business performance (BP). Based on this gap, the main objective of the study is to investigate how DDSC effect to BP through the SCC in the manufacturing industries of the Indonesia. To achieve this objective, data has been collected from the 600 supply chain managers who were working in the food industry of Indonesia by using a simple random sampling technique which yield a 55% response rate.

Halal compliance is very crucial for halal certified food manufacturers. However, over time, there are many cases of non-compliances which resulted in the revocation of halal certificate among Malaysian food and beverage manufacturers. This study looked at the role of religiosity in ensuring halal compliance in companies operating in Malaysia. Results from the quantitative analyses indicated that religiosity did not have an impact on halal compliance by Malaysia F&B companies.

The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS software. This study presents a hypothesis with three elements and the results has shown that all hypothesis are supported. There is a significant relationship between the spirituality leadership adoption and the halal business with r value of 0.762. As a conclusion, the results of the study can be an informative model for future leaderships implementation of spirituality mainly for halal SMEs businesses in Malaysia.
