An increase in human capital for the host country means that fewer people will fall under the poverty line and fewer will suffer from hunger. An increase in human capital can also increase the health and wellbeing of citizens. By analyzing the evident benefits of Green FDI for host countries that promoting for increasingly seeking more green investors, authors would like to suggest some recommendations for Vietnamese governments to become attractive destinations for sustainable investment.

More important findings to be reported is that the spillover effects of FDI appear to be quickly assimilated by workers in the Malaysian manufacturing industries through the "learning effect" as opposed to “technology effect” and that the fast pace is biased towards higher labour productivity. Findings from this study can help the FDI attraction policy to be carried out not only to increase Malaysian labour productivity, but most importantly to ensure the function of FDI transfer of knowledge to labour takes place, which must be based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The research paper examines the potential implications of the Global Minimum Tax on the tax regime and investment landscape in Vietnam. The study surveyed large-scale FDI companies in Vietnam and revealed the utmost concern of foreign investors on the potential application of Pillar 2 in Vietnam, which is about the prevailing incentive schemes being left inefficient. As a result, FDI attraction competitiveness might be undermined in certain aspects.

The objective of the study is to assess the impact of FDI on renewable energy use in Vietnam. Research results confirm that FDI projects with low technology and high energy consumption do not have a good impact on the economy in general and the use of renewable energy in particular. The study also confirms that economic growth and the development of financial markets have a very positive impact on renewable energy consumption. Finally, the study also suggests some policy implications for Vietnam in the case of increasing renewable energy use and sustainable development in the future.

This article is supposed to consider the question of the attempts of the PRC to resolve existing differences on the disputed parts of the borders with the Republic of India. In the period under review, China had several territorial disputes with its neighbours, which did not allow to realize the foreign policy potential, and there was also not a sufficient number of allies and economic partners of the PRC. As an example of a solution to border disputes, one can cite a positive result achieved in the course of negotiations with the USSR on the demarcation of the border.

The article is devoted to the cooperation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan in the sphere of security in the period from 2000 to 2017. It explores the relations of the two states in the political and military-technical spheres in the context of Eurasian integration processes. Some economic, cultural and humanitarian aspects of cooperation are also considered, complementing the security policy with elements of "soft power". This study evaluates the relationship between foreign direct investment, current account, and economic growth in Vietnam. Using the VECM method, the research results have shown that FDI and current accounts positively affect Vietnam’s economic growth in both the short and long term. The novelty of this paper is that the authors have done the robustness test through the Bayesian stability test. Based on research results, we propose policy implications to minimize the negative effects of FDI inflows and make the most of this capital source for Vietnam's sustainable economic development.
