Nội dung bài viết trình bày kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy trong 10 mẫu nấm phân lập, làm thuần từ vết bệnh thối cuống trái cam sành thu tại 2 huyện Tam Bình và Trà Ôn, tỉnh Vĩnh Long, mẫu nấm TB2 có độc tính cao nhất và được định danh là Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, với tỉ lệ trùng hợp 100% dựa theo NCBI. Kết quả đánh giá hiệu quả in vitro của các loại thuốc hóa học với nấm C. gloeosporioides ghi nhận nghiệm thức xử lí Azoxystrobin + Fosetyl Aluminium + Dimethomorph cho hiệu quả ức chế nấm C. gloeosporioides cao hơn có ý nghĩa với nghiệm thức đối chứng.

Chemical inducers facilitate broad-spectrum of induced resistance against plant pathogens and thus reduced the toxicity of the chemicals used in excess by the farmers for the management of plant diseases. Banana soft rot incited by Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. Carotovorum (Pcc) cause huge economical loss to the farming if infected at an early stage. In the present study, chemical inducers viz., salicylic acid, potassium silicate, potassium sulphate, fosetyl aluminium, humic acid @ 1000 ppm and COC 3g/lit + streptocycline 300ppm (check) were tested against Pccunder glass house conditions.

A simple and inexpensive method was developed using liquid - liquid extraction, together with high performance chromatographic method for determination of fosetyl aluminium residues in garlic. The evaluated parameters include the extracts by distilled water and methanol solvents. The method was validated using garlic samples spiked with fosetyl aluminium at different fortification levels (0.03, 0.1 and 0.3 µg/g).
