Present study was done in North-Eastern part of Uttar Pradesh (India) which is home to diverse form of macrofungal species, some of which are highly edible and generally used by local peoples as food and other medicinal purpose. Species composition and species diversity of macrofungi were examined in 7 Tehsils of Gorakhpur district.
