In this paper, we propose adaptive inventorycontrol models for a supply chain consisting of one supplier and multiple retailers. It follows from the logic of the foregoing that the patterns of the past are transferred to the future to a greater or lesser extent. The targeting-based approach involves changing the patterns of the past in accordance with the target settings that determine the new nature of the processes of the future.

Manufacturers constantly have to encounter fluctuated product demands. Accordingly, it is required to establish a production schedule that meets the future demands and concurrently has a low level of daily labor/materials’ deviation. The study "Evolutionary algorithm with feasibility rule based constraint-handling method for intelligent production scheduling" constructs an evolutionary algorithm for achieving this task. The Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm and the feasibility rule based method for constraint handling are integrated to develop this evolutionary algorithm.

The objective of this study is to propose some solutions to improve visitors’ satisfaction to Phu Quoc Island. The data of the study were collected from domestic and foreign tourists to the island. In the research, descriptive statistical methods, Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient, factor analysis and regression analysis are used. The results show the positive points to be promoted and the negative points to be overcome then the researchers propose solutions to improve the satisfaction levels of visitors when experiencing tourist services in Phu Quoc in the future.

This study was conducted to analyze the factors of CRM affecting tourism enterprises’ performance. By combining qualitative and quantitative research, the authors have surveyed 450 tourism enterprises’ managers in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). The result shows that there are 4 groups of CRM’s factors affecting tourism enterprises’ performance including: (i) CRM Technology; (ii) CRM Organization; (iii) CRM Processes; (iv) Customer Orientation. The results provides the dimensions for CRM, enhance performance of tourism enterprises in HCMC.

The results show that individual variables and nature of the operation are the main factors influencing customer’s choice for banking services’ distribution channels. Moreover, we also find that service quality perceived by customers among different channels have dissimilar effects on overall customer satisfaction. The results also propose a conceptual model of multi-channel customer satisfaction in a Vietnamese banking context.

These datasets are generated from Ford assembly line in a 6-month period focusing mostly on failure occurrence. The predictive power of the proposed model is supported in both data sets. Results suggest that Station, Model, Feature and Operation are four significant control parameters as they possess a more noticeable predictive power in comparison to time factor. To generalize the study area, other potential modelling methods are also implied for future research and other scenarios.

In order to test the proposed model and hypotheses, a survey was conducted on a sample including 370 young consumers in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. The findings of structural equation modeling indicate that attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control toward organic food purchase are positively related to purchase intention. In addition, health consciousness, trust in labeling and certification, and modern self are found to be significant predictors of attitude toward buying organic food. The research findings were discussed and future research directions were provided.

An algorithm for improving feeding rates of industrial welding robot TA 1400 of Panasonic with 6 degrees of freedom is presented. The kinematics and dynamics of the robot are calculated on MATLAB software. The proposed algorithm for improving feeding rates is mathematically analyzed and the performance of the system is evaluated in a simulation environment. The simulation results are used for proving the efficiency of the solution. Based on the achieved results, the algorithm can be applied for reducing time and improving the productivity of other industrial robots in the future.
