Some physical and mechanical properties of fenugreek seeds and plant were evaluated. The average length, width, thickness and geometric mean diameter of fenugreek seed were 3.47 mm, 2.53 mm, 1.61mm and 2.41 mm, respectively. The observed mean value of fenugreek plant for length, width and stalk diameter was 593.12 mm, 118.16 mm and 2.48 mm, respectively.

The study was conducted to investigate some physical properties of soybean at various moisture levels. The dependence of physical properties of soybean on moisture content was determined. In the moisture range from 9.98- 27.10% (wb).The soaked soybean size increased linearly in length (6.34 - 8.95 mm), width (5.42 -6.50 mm), and thickness (4.23 - 5.35 mm) according to final moisture content. Physical properties including length, width, thickness, geometric mean diameter, mass, 1000-tuber mass, bulk density, tuber density, surface area, terminal velocity, angle of repose, porosity, and friction coefficient were affected by moisture content at a 1% probability level, excluding sphericity.
