This study aims to reveal the prevalence of internet addiction among Kurdish university students and its association with self-control. 623 students form 19 universities in various colleges and schools, 335 boys (54 %) and 288 (46%) girls took part in this study in which they were asked to complete an internet addiction and self-control self-report.

Adolescence is the transition period between childhood and adulthood, a window of opportunity for the improvement of nutritional status and correcting poor dietary practices. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines an adolescent as any person between ages 10 and 19. The present was conducted to study the dietary practices and nutritional awareness of adolescent girls of Mahabubnagar district Telangana. The study was planned to assess the Menstrual Hygiene Management of Rural adolescent girl’s. The source of information regarding menstruation, and also to assess hygiene practices among them. Exploratory study was conducted with focused group discussions and self reported questionnaire. The study was carried out in Rural Telangana area. Major findings of the study were , that among the 120 adolescent girls, 68% were between 13 and 16 years. A maximum of 37% were having first menarche at the age of 12- 13yrs. 76% had regular cycles. Education should be the dynamic form of philosophy of any nation. India desired to adopt a socialistic way of life. As education is the only means to bring about the desired social change, a vast amount of money has been spent on education by the state. The present study was undertaken in 8 villages of Midjil mandal in Mahbubnagar district, Telangana state. Though the school education department succeeded in increasing the enrolment ratio in Mahbubnagar which is the most backward district in the state, it still continues to witness the highest dropout rate.
