In this experiment the VAM fungi viz., Glomus fasciculatum (Thaxter) Gerd. And Trappe, Glomus mossea (Nicol. and Gerd.) Gerd and Trappe, Glomus intraradices Schenck and Smith. With an un-inoculated control was maintained and three P levels viz., 60, 90, 120 kg ha-1 were tried.

Pots experiment was conducted in screen house condition of Forestry Department, CCSHAU, Hisar. In this experiment Dalbergia sissoo seeds were sown in both the conditions of soils i.e. inoculated and un-inoculated with Glomus mosseae in different water treatments i.e., normal, drought and re-watering conditions to evaluate the performance of growth characters (collar diameter, shoot and root length, fresh and dry weight, no. of leaves and leaf area index) of seedlings.

In this study, the effect of Vesicular Arbrbusular Mycorrhizae (VAM) on the ex vitro hardening of marigold was investigated. A protocol was generated for ex vitro hardening of in vitro raised plantlets using VAM consortia (Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae and Scutellospora spp.) in different media mixtures, and their effect was observed on plant survival and growth. Highest percent survival (94.00), maximum plant height (39.00 cm), maximum plant spread (30.50 cm), maximum stem diameter (0.97 cm), maximum shoot fresh weight (0.75 g), maximum root fresh weight (0.

Salt stress is an important environmental stress. Plants cope with salt stress with diff erent strategies. In this study the effects of 2 diff erent arbuscular mycorrhiza species (Glomus mosseae and G. intraradices) on some biochemical parameters in pepper plants (Capsicum annuum L. cv. Cumaovası) exposed to long term salt stress were studied.

This study evaluated seedling traits (shoot/root length, fresh and dry weights of shoots/roots, number of leaves, shoot diameter), phosphorus (P) content, mycorrhizal colonization (MC), and relative mycorrhizal dependency (RMD) of 21 common bean genotypes inoculated by 4 different arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) Glomus intraradices (Gi), Glomus mosseae (Gm), Gigaspora margarita (Gim), and commercial AMF (cAMF) in a growth chamber under controlled growing conditions.
