The study has revealed that significantly highest number of flowers per plant (28.00), highest flower diameter (7.83 cm) and highest flower yield per hectare (25.25 q) were observed by application of nitrogen at the rate of 200 kg ha-1 in combination with potassium at the rate of 150 kg ha-1 . Non-significant changes were observed in the available organic carbon content in the soil at the end of the experiment when compared with the application of nutrients before the experimentation.

A field experiment was conducted during kharif season 2016-17 to study the effect of potassium levels on growth, yield and quality parameters of green gram. The growth and yield attributes like plant height, leaf area, number of nodules, fresh weight of nodules, total biomass production, number of pods, seed yield and dry matter yield were significantly improved by the application of potassium and micronutrient along with RDF.

Agricultural production continues to be constrained by a number of biotic and abiotic factors that can reduce crop yield quantity and quality. Potassium (K) is an essential nutrient that affects most of the physiological processes that influence plant growth. To understand the effect of potassium, a pot culture experiment was carried out with graded levels of potassium to study the influence of potassium on physiological parameters of maize in black calcareous and non-calcareous soils.

Wide spread potassium and boron deficiency in coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is a limiting factor for increased nut production in terai region of West Bengal. Accordingly, an experiment was undertaken in a 7.5 m x 7.5 m spaced 11 years old coconut plantation (cv. ECT) laid out in Factorial randomized block design with 9 treatments and 4 replications with graded levels of potassium (900, 1200 and 1500 g of K2O per palm) and boron (25, 50, and 100 g borax/palm) for two consecutive years (2014-15 and 2015-16) to study the influence of leaf potassium and boron on copra yield in coconut in the region.

Effect of sources and graded levels of sulphur on growth and yield of bellary onion (Allium cepa L.)
A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of different sources and graded levels of sulphur on growth, yield attributes and yield of bellary onion at National Institute for Abiotic Stress Management, Malegaon Khurd, Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. The treatments comprised of three sources of sulphur (Elemental sulphur- Bentonite clay, Potassium schoenite and ammonium sulphate) with graded levels of sulphur viz., 0, 30, 45 and 60 kg S ha-1 . The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with four replications.

Response of different sources and levels of sulphur on quality and grading of onion (Allium cepa L.)
Onion is one of the important and commercial vegetable crops of India. Onion is sulphur loving crop and its requirement is high for improved yield and quality. Sulphur has been recognized as an important nutrient for higher yield, quality and nutrient uptake of onion bulbs. Keeping these in view, a field experiment was conducted at ICAR- National Institute on Abiotic Stress Management (ICAR – NIASM), Baramati, during Rabi, 2017-18 to study the effect of sources and levels of sulphur on bulb quality and grading in onion (cv. Bhima Kiran).

A field experiment was conducted in farmer’s field at Jodalli village (Kalghatgi taluk) in 2012-13 and at Pale village (Hubballi taluk) in 2013-14 under protective irrigation to study the effect of graded levels of NPK fertilizers on pests incidence of Bt cotton. The interaction of graded levels of NPK did not show significant effect on pests population (thrips, jassids, aphids, shoot weevil, mirid bug and midge) during first and second years of experimentation and also in pooled data.

In connection with the global demand for safe human food and the production of environmentally friendly aquaculture products, acidifiers are natural organic acids and salts that have received considerable attention as animal-feed additives. The current study was designed to evaluate the effects of potassium diformate (KDF) on the growth performance and immunity of cultured Oreochromis niloticus (O. niloticus). Four iso-nitrogenous and iso-caloric rations containing graded levels of KDF, including 0% (control basal diet), 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.
