Green Supply Chain Management Practice

This paper explores the green supply chain management practices adoption among Malaysian ISO 14001 certified manufacturing companies. The green practices that are measured in this research are eco-design, green purchasing and reverse logistics. This study used survey to collect responses from 616 manufacturing companies, with a response rate of 24.68%.

In this regard this study was conducted to identify the antecedents and outcomes of the green supply chain management. Study identified green knowledge management capability and internal environment management as antecedents and environmental performance as an outcome. 166 procurement managers working in the electronics industry in Thailand gave responses in the study. The results pointed out that green knowledge management capability internal environment management are positively and considerably related with green supply chain management practices.

Present study is ascertain to elaborate the role of green supply chain management towards the suppliers’ performance. Further, the role of social capital as a potential mediator is also explored in the Thai business to business (B2B) context. Data was collected by using the survey questionnaires. Different statistical tests for measurement model and hypothesis testing respectively. Findings highlighted that suppliers’ performance both in environmental and operational terms improves due to the GSCM practices.

In recent years, the hospitality Industry has overcome numerous challenges to initiate green practices. Greater interest in customers green behaviours has led the hotel industry to practice more environmentally friendly activities. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors that influence customers in visiting green hotels in Malaysia. The theory of planned behaviour (TPB) has been embedded to investigate the factors. Organizations are embracing the “go green” concept. It is being implemented in the internal and external organizational boundaries with the primary aim to establish a superior environmental and financial performance. Bearing in mind the importance of the topic current study examined how the GRHM do contributes towards the GSCM. An empirical study was conducted to examine the aforementioned relationship and for this purpose data were collected from 200 managers of hotels in Phuket Thailand. Smart-PLS have been employed for the data analysis.

This paper aims to identify appropriate strategies which drive and enhance implementation of EI in the contractor firms. A literature review is carried out using content analysis to determine the EI strategies that crucial to improve the conservative construction practices toward green. The aim of the current study is to examine the effect of green supply chain management practices (GSCMP) on the sustainable performance (SP) of the textile industry of Indonesia. This research paper has analysed the role of green supply chain management practices on organisational performance in the manufacturing sector of Malaysia. The moderating role of supply chain traceability and institutional pressure are considered as the moderators. Method: Primary data was collected via Likert scale based survey questionnaire.
