A study on effects of water submergence depth on the formation of tuberization Eleocharis ochrostachys Steud. in experimental conditions at level of soil moisture 45 - 50%, 80 - 100% and the submerged depth of the water is 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm (with experiment depth of the water 20 cm, and then lowered the water level, remove water periodically every 15 days down to 5 cm until the water level is no longer submerged and then watered with moisture, soil moisture 80-100 %) was conducted to study tuberization Eleocharis ochrostachys Steud.

Eleocharis ochrostachys is considered to be a native plant in Tram Chim National Park. This study determined the effects of soil moisture and submergence conditions on the growth and tuberization of the plant. The results showed that the development of the plant was the most suitable at soil moisture of 80 -100% and submergence of 15 cm, while it poorly grew and did not produce any tuber at soil moisture of 45 - 50%.
