Guide to supply chain management

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the intervention of thinking skills. One of the main ways of guiding people's thinking about having a healthy and sensible life is to teach employees how to think correctly. Therefore, since the ultimate goal of education is learning, it is important to consider every factor that achieves this goal. Therefore, the main objective of the study was to investigate the effect of training and supply chain management on problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and social skills of employees.

This paper presents part of an on-going research aimed at using SCM Tools to overcome delay and definitely collaboration is an aspect that needs improvement. After conducting a comprehensive literature reviews on past proposal and applications, a number of SCM Collaborative Tools have been identified, elaborated and discussed in this paper; which is expected to serve as a guide towards adopting SCM into construction project practices and thus, achieve the benefits it has to offer.

This research aims to identify the main issues on healthcare supply chain management literature, to analyse a real healthcare unit supply chain. The results are a framework compiling literature review, that allowed redesigning the medicines and materials supply chain of a network of hospitals in Brazil. The method consisted in conducting the literature review, describing the actual model of the healthcare units using process management approach and designing the new supply chain, adopting Lean Healthcare tools, such as A3 to guide the analysis and problems solution.

Collaborative governance plays a critical role in guiding the whole supply chain to achieve its strategic goals. This study aims to examine the impact of information provided via the disclosure of intellectual capital on the cost of equity capital. It also examines the effect of good corporate governance on the relationship between intellectual capital disclosure and supply chain. It examines firms listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for period 2013 to 2015. Data were analyzed using moderated regression analysis.

Factors identified are perceived benefits, top management support and supply chain partner readiness. The primary data has been collected through a structured questionnaire survey. The study investigated the influence of procurement planning on procurement performance in public sector entities by focusing on UMI. The study was guided by the resource-based view (RBV) theory. In Uganda most government Institutions such as UMI have registered certain constraints in procurement performance and this could be a result of inadequate procurement planning on a timely basis as required by the PPDA Act 2003.

The  study  draws  from  over  720  sources.  It  includes  activities  undertaken  by  companies  across  the  whole  environmental  supply  chain,  from  R&D,  through  manufacturing  into  distribution,  retail,  installation and maintenance services. Companies are included in the supply chain where 20% of their  turnover is supplied into the LCEGS sector, but importantly only the sales activity relating to this sector  is  included  in  this  study.  This  inclusion  is  akin  to  the  way  other  sectors  of  the  economy,  such  as  aerospace,  are measured.

More than 50 percent of women in low-resource settings deliver without skilled birth attendants and hours away from facilities where these medicines and emergency obstetric care should be available. Managing high blood pressure and related seizures and preventing bleeding for births that are not attended by skilled providers remain major challenges for improving maternal survival.
