The Factorial Analyses confirmed that UFO experiences can be represented based on four dimensions: Extraterrestrial Beliefs (C1), Extraterrestrial Experiences (E1), Fearful Extraterrestrial Beliefs (T1) and Form Beliefs (C2). Nerve conduction study (NCS) is the only useful test for objective assessment of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). However, the relationship between pre- and postoperative NCS and clinical outcomes was unclear. This study aimed to determine whether pre- and postoperative (6months) NCS could predict patient-oriented and motor outcomes (6 and 12months postoperatively) in patients with CTS.

Hand hygiene is considered as the most effective method of controlling health care related infections. The present study was conducted to determine the awareness of hand washing among Health care personnel (HCP) and to compare the microbial flora of dominant and non-dominant hands of HCP. Sixty-nine HCP were interviewed using a pre-validated questionnaire regarding compliance of hand washing practices. Their dominant hand was noted. Using the sterile pre-moistened swab sticks sample was collected from both hands of HCP and cultivated on Blood Agar.

Healthcare acquired infections also known as nosocomial infection are associated with increased morbidity and mortality among hospitalized patients and healthcare workers to an increased risk of infections. This study explores the knowledge and practices of infection control practices among health care workers in Saveetha medical college which is a tertiary care hospital. This is a cross-sectional study. A self-administered structured questionnaire was distributed to the study group (of CRRIs and nurses). Data on knowledge and practice of infection control were obtained and analyzed.

The study was planned to assess the Menstrual Hygiene Management of Rural adolescent girl’s. The source of information regarding menstruation, and also to assess hygiene practices among them. Exploratory study was conducted with focused group discussions and self reported questionnaire. The study was carried out in Rural Telangana area. Major findings of the study were , that among the 120 adolescent girls, 68% were between 13 and 16 years. A maximum of 37% were having first menarche at the age of 12- 13yrs. 76% had regular cycles. Maximum 56% had Medium Menstrual flow usually.

Hand hygiene is the leading measure to reduce the incidence of health care associated infections (HAIs). Although the techniques involved are simple, compliance is poor worldwide. This study was undertaken to determine the level of knowledge on hand hygiene among medical students so that appropriate measures can be taken to promote compliance. This study was conducted in Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute from June to July 2018 among medical students using WHO hand hygiene questionnaire.

The importance of hands in the transmission of hospital infections has been well demonstrated and hand hygiene reduces the prevalence of hospital acquired infections. The problem of the study is the usage of antibiotics to food producing animals for treatment, prophylaxis and as growth promoters results in deposition of their residues in various organs and tissues.
