This is due to the reduction of calcium hydroxide and the increase of secondary CSH in the cement matrix from the pozzolanic reaction of a mineral admixture. The result of the study with modern experiment methods confirmed the improvement of strength and durability for hardened cement using mineral admixture, thereby ensuring the good applicability of the additional admixtures used in concrete of marine structures.

Steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) is a multiple-composite material developed during the early 1970s. In SFRC, short steel fibers are randomly distributed in concrete. Steel fibers can prevent the development of micro-cracks inside the concrete and reduce the expansion and development of the macro-cracks, thus enhance mechanical performance of SFRC. However, there is lack of studies on the influence of flowability of fresh SFRC on the steel fiber distribution patterns and mechanical properties of hardened SFRC.

A study was carried out to establish efficient and reliable in vitro propagation protocol for Gisela 5 (Prunus cerasus x Prunus canescens) - clonal cherry rootstock. Axillary and terminal buds of ‘Gisela 5’ were collected in the spring and cultured on MS medium. After the in vitro cultures were sufficiently established, experiments were conducted to assess the influence of different levels of benzyladenine (BA), kinetin (Kin), thidiazuron (TDZ), gibrellic acid (GA3) and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) on in vitro shoot multiplication.

In this paper, optimum parameters while machining AISI D2 hardened steel using solid carbide TiAlN coated end mill has been investigated. For optimization of process parameters along with multiple quality characteristics, principal components analysis method has been adopted in this work. The confirmation experiments have revealed that to improve performance of cutting; principal components analysis method would be a useful tool.

The authors have carried out studies on long term behavior of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) column by numerical methods based on experimental data that is described by a visco-elastic model, and the age-adjusted effective modulus (AAEM) method is adopted to modelling creep behavior of the concrete core, which is evaluated by the Finite Element Method (FEM) combined Prony's series interpolation by using ANSYS software.

Today, the advancement of technology and the achievement of increasing innovations in the field of building materials have increased high-strength concrete (HSC) production. The use of this material has been increased due to economic and technical reasons in the construction of concrete sections. However, the more compressive strength of the concrete is, the more concrete becomes brittle and its tensile strength does not increase with increasing compressive strength. HSC is also more vulnerable to high temperatures due to its high density and low porosity compared to conventional concrete.

In the high-temperature and high-pressure irradiation environments, the multi-field coupling processes of hydrogen diffusion, hydride precipitation and mechanical deformation in Zircaloy cladding tubes occur. To simulate this hydrogen-induced complex behavior, a multi-field coupling method is developed, with the irradiation hardening effects and hydride-precipitation-induced expansion and hardening effects involved in the mechanical constitutive relation.

In this paper, the cyclic plastic behaviors such as cyclic hardening and cyclic creep of special steel garde 38XH3MФА are studied. In this paper by using the theory of elasto-plastic processes and adjacentequilibrium criterion the governing equations of the elasto-plastic stability problem of conical shells are derived. The Bubnov-Galerkin's method combined with the loading parameter method are applied in solving the mentioned problem.
