The study was conducted in eighteen buffaloes categorised into three groups of six animals each. In the field of 24/7 human health monitoring, pervasive computing makes possible the continuous analysis of physiological parameters from an ambulatory device with a great acceptability. This paper presents two methods for obtaining cardiac and respiratory rates from a single arterial pressure signal: AM-FM demodulation and Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA). With the aim to monitor sleep apnea, two simulated central sleep apnea were performed and recorded with Biopac reference system.

The present study was conducted on 30 cattle presented at the institutional veterinary hospital which were diagnosed of suffering for the small bowel intussusception. Detailed signalment including age, sex, breed, pregnancy status and season were recorded in all the animals. History of feed and water intake, defecation status, rumination status, type of feeding, any recent change in feed, history of deworming and feeding of mineral mixture was also recorded.Clinical signs such as signs of colic, abdominal distension, rumen impaction, laboured breathing and ruminal bloat were accessed.

Anaplasma is one of the most rickettsiale diseases in ruminants. Five species including Anaplasma marginale, Anaplasma centrale, Anaplasma bovis, Anaplasma phagocytophilium and Anaplasma ovis are recognized in ruminant animals. Anaplasma causes major economic losses to the livestock owner. Anaplasma is mainly transmitted by mechanical way such as by biting flies, lice and biological by different tick species and fomites in livestock.
