Efficacy of atrazine based post-emergence herbicide mixtures on weed dynamics and maize (Zea mays L.) productivity in sub-humid southern plain of Rajasthan

A field experiment was conducted on clay loam soil during kharif, 2017 at Instructional Agronomy Farm, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur to find out the effect of herbicides and their tank mix application on weed dynamics, growth and yield of maize. The post-emergence tank mix application of atrazine 0.5 kg/ha + tembotrione 0.125 kg/ha at 15 DAS reduced weed density, weed dry matter and improved weed control efficiency of monocot, dicot and total weed at 60 DAS.
