A complete liquid phase technology and a function regulator were applied to prepare CuZnAl catalysts for higher alcohol synthesis. Characterizations showed that the introduction of the function regulator can change the reduction ability of copper oxides and the surface basicity of catalysts. Activity tests indicated that the selectivity of higher alcohol is high when considerable medium-strong basicity and the synergistic effects of copper ion and metal copper exist on the catalytic surface.

The field experiment was conducted at Research farm of Department of Agricultural Meteorology, college of Agriculture, Parbhani during kharif 2017 to study the performance of maize hybrids (Zea mays L.) under different sowing windows. The experiment comprised of five dates i.e. 25th SMW, 26th SMW, 27th SMW, 28th SMW and 29th SMW as main plot treatment with two maize hybrid viz. The functional food development by adding probiotic bacteria is getting a lot of concern. In this study, Bifidobacterium bifidum AS 1.1886 was encapsulated in calcium-alginate 2 % w/v (C sample) or the mix of calcium-alginate 2 % (w/v) and whey protein 1 % (w/v) (CW sample) or calcium-alginate 2 % (w/v) coated by whey protein 1 % (w/v) (CcW sample) by extrusion method, and added to mayonnaise product. The pH changes, the survival rate of probiotic bacteria, and total yeast and mold count during storage, as well as the probiotic survival in simulated gastric medium, were evaluated.

In this study, the TTS trend of the Korean surveillance test results was analyzed using a nonlinear regression model and a mixed-effect model based on the power function. The nonlinear regression model yielded a similar exponent as the power function in the fluence compared with RG1.99/ 2. The mixed-effect model had a higher value of the exponent and showed superior goodness of fit compared with the nonlinear regression model. Compared with RG1.99/2 and RG1.99/3, the mixed-effect model provided a more accurate prediction of the TTS.
