Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) are an urgent global health threat. Inferring the dynamics of local CRE dissemination is currently limited by our inability to confidently trace the spread of resistance determinants to unrelated bacterial hosts.

The spread of drug-resistant bacterial pathogens poses a major threat to global health. It is widely recognised that the widespread use of antibiotics has generated selective pressures that have driven the emergence of resistant strains. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) was first observed in 1960, less than one year after the introduction of this second generation beta-lactam antibiotic into clinical practice.

Pseudomonas putida is a Gram-negative, non-fermenting bacterium frequently encountered in various environmental niches. P. putida rarely causes disease in humans, though serious infections and outbreaks have been reported from time to time. Some have suggested that P. putida functions as an exchange platform for antibiotic resistance genes (ARG), and thus represents a serious concern in the spread of ARGs to more pathogenic organisms within a hospital.

This is the case for Xanthomonas strains responsible for common bacterial blight of bean, spread across four genetic lineages. All the strains from these four lineages converged for pathogenicity on common bean, implying possible gene convergences and/or sharing of a common arsenal of genes conferring the ability to infect common bean.

Isopods constitute a particular group of crustaceans that has successfully colonized all environments including marine, freshwater and terrestrial habitats. Their ability to use various food sources, especially plant biomass, might be one of the reasons of their successful spread.

The drip irrigation system offers key advantages for meeting contemporary water and nutrient management efficiency standards, since it allows for accurate control of water supplied in small quantities directly to the root zone (forming partially wetted soil volume).

Antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) can spread among pathogens via horizontal gene transfer, resulting in imparities in their distribution even within the same species. Therefore, a pan-genome approach to analyzing resistomes is necessary for thoroughly characterizing patterns of ARGs distribution within particular pathogen populations.

Cluster frontline demonstration (CFLDs) is one of the key extension tools for transfer of technology at grass root level that directly impact the horizontal spread of technology. Pulses play an important role in the food and farming economy of our country. Considering their limited input requirements, soil enriching properties and suitability for growing in areas where moisture (water) is limited, pulses occupy a unique place in our agriculture system.

Geographically and phenotypically diverse 860 G. hirsutum germplasm lines were evaluated under North Zone irrigated conditions of India during 2011-12 and 2012-13 for a different flower retention period, seed cotton yield and other desirable traits. The accessions initiate flowering at 60 days were having maturity period below 150 days, horizontal width less than 40 cm, hence showed suitability for high density cropping system (HDPS) for productivity enhancement. The accessions which flowers at 80 days are found to be semi spreading in nature.

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L) is one of the major vegetable crops cultivated in India, which plays a major role in supplementing the income of small and marginal farmers of Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh. The front line demonstrations (FLDs) were conducted on farmer’s field in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh for three consecutive years (2014-15 to 2016-17) at two adopted villages. Prevailing farmer's practices were treated as control for comparison with demonstrated technology.

Cumin is one of the important major seed spice crops, considered to be a remunerative cash crop mainly grown in the western part of the country particularly in Rajasthan and Gujarat occupying about 8.8 lakh hectares area with annual production of about 4.9 lakh tonnes. Frontline demonstration is one of the most important and powerful tools for transfer of technology. Keeping in view of effective extension approach of FLDs for dissemination of technology FLDs on cumin conducted by KVK, Pali, Rajasthan was assessed.

This research shows the influence of pile cap on bearing capacity of pile foundation, especially pile groups of shaft resistance. Using PLAXIS-3D FOUNDATION sofware to simulate a actual application with 4 piles in groups and assumption for 7 stiffness modulus of soil under pile cap. The output calculation expresses that in both the cap and the pile carrying the load. The cap is necessary to spread the vertical and horizontal loads and any overturning moments to all the piles in group and transfer load to soil underneath.

It is suggested in this paper that t w o - l e v e l morphology theory (Kay, Koskenniemi) can be extended to include morphological tone. This extension treats phonological features as I/O tapes for Finite State Transducers in a parallel sequential incrementation (PSI) architecture; phonological processes (e.g. assimilation) are seen as variants of an elementary unification operation over feature tapes (linear unification phonology, LUP).

"Prepare for battle!" The command crackled in Allan Dane's helmet. "Enemy approaching from southeast! Squadron commanders execute plan two!" Allan settled back in the seat of his one-man helicopter, his broad frame rendered even bulkier by the leather suit that incased it. He was tensed, but quiescent. Action would be first joined sixty miles away, and his own squadron was in reserve. Over New York and its bay the American air fleet was in motion. Suddenly movement ceased, and the formation froze.
