PD-L1 showed abnormal mRNA and protein expression in a variety of cancers and predicted prognosis in cancer patients. Furthermore, across a variety of cancer types, the aberrant PD-L1 expression was connected to the MSI, MMR, TMB, drug sensitivity, and tumor immune microenvironment (TIME). Moreover, PD-L1 was significantly correlated with infiltrating levels of immune cells (T cell CD8+, neutrophil, and so on).

Notch3 restricts metastasis of breast cancers through regulation of the JAK/STAT5A signaling pathway
To explore the potential role of signal transducer and activator of transcription 5A (STAT5A) in the metastasis of breast cancer, and its mechanism of regulation underlying. Methods and results TCGA datasets were used to evaluate the expression of STAT5A in normal and different cancerous tissues through TIMER2.0, indicating that STAT5A level was decreased in breast cancer tissues compared with normal ones.

The most common subtype of ovarian cancer (OC) showing immunogenic potential is represented by the high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), which is characterized by the presence of tumor-infiltrating immune cells able to modulate immune response.

Tumor-infiltrating immune cells have been linked to prognosis and response to immunotherapy; however, the levels of distinct immune cell subsets and the signals that draw them into a tumor, such as the expression of antigen presenting machinery genes, remain poorly characterized.

Diffuse gliomas are the most common malignant tumors of the central nervous system with poor treatment efficacy. Infiltration of immune cells into tumors during immunosurveillance is observed in multiple tumor entities and often associated with a favorable outcome. The aim of this study was to evaluate the infiltration of immune cells in gliomas and their association with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) cytokine concentrations.

Autophagy inhibits tumorigenesis by limiting inflammation. LncRNAs regulate gene expression at various levels as RNAs; thus, both autophagy and lncRNAs are closely related to the occurrence and development of tumours.

This study intends to investigate the immunological effects of tumor ablation with irreversible electroporation (IRE). Methods: We evaluated the systemic immune response in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after IRE treatment. Furthermore, we analyzed the tumor infiltrating T lymphocytes and the level of serum cytokines in IRE and control groups of tumor-bearing mice.

With the advent of array-based techniques to measure methylation levels in primary tumor samples, systematic investigations of methylomes have widely been performed on a large number of tumor entities. Most of these approaches are not based on measuring individual cell methylation but rather the bulk tumor sample DNA, which contains a mixture of tumor cells, infiltrating immune cells and other stromal components.

The details of the immunological microenvironment and its clinical implications for pancreatic cancer are still unclear. In this study, we obtained data from public databases, such as the Gene Expression Omnibus, the Cancer Genome Atlas Program, the International Cancer Genome Consortium Data Portal, the ArrayExpress Data Warehouse, and the cBioPortal for Cancer Genomics. We used these data to evaluate the pattern of immune cells infiltration in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues.
