To examine the prevalence and prognostic role of tumor microenvironment (TME) markers in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS) through immunohistochemical characterization. Methods: The internal database of our institution was queried out for women with UCS who underwent surgery and thereafter postoperative chemotherapy with carboplatin and paclitaxel between January 2012 and December 2017.

The expression and activation of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E) is associated with cell transformation and tumor initiation, but the functional role and the mechanism whereby it drives immune cell infltration in breast cancer (BRCA) remain uncertain.

Glioma is the most common primary intracranial tumour and has a very poor prognosis. Pyroptosis, also known as inflammatory necrosis, is a type of programmed cell death that was discovered in recent years. The expression and role of pyroptosis-related genes in gliomas are still unclear.

Oncogenic metabolic reprogramming contributes to tumor growth and immune evasion. The intertumoral metabolic heterogeneity and interaction of distinct metabolic pathways may determine patient outcomes. In this study, we aim to determine the clinical and immunological significance of metabolic subtypes according to the expression levels of genes related to glycolysis and cholesterol-synthesis in bladder cancer (BCa).

Activated Cdc42-associated kinase 1 (ACK1), a kind of tyrosine kinase, is considered to be an oncogene in many cancers, and it is likely to become a potential target for cancer treatment. We found that the expression of the ACK1 gene in colon cancer was higher than that in normal tissues adjacent to cancer, and high expression of the ACK1 gene was associated with poor prognosis of patients.
