Suburbs in Melbourne present to us a unique context with which a new approach towards urban form can be devised using the existing conditions and opportunities found with infrastructural developments. This thesis contains the investigations on the various 'pathologies' of the urban fabric specifically on the potential use of 'Spaces Left-Over After Planning' as by-product to infrastructural development in relation to the reinvigoration of Melbourne suburbs under the influence of current and future metropolitan growth pressures.

Temperature rise due to climate change is expected to change pathogenicity of the pathogen. Temperature has a significant influence on growth and sporulation of rice leaf blast pathogen (M. oryzae). Both growth and sporulation were increased up to a temperature (27°C) and declined further in response to increased or decreased with temperature (32°C and 22°C). The objective of this paper is to study overall scenario of the cumin at the national and international level as well as to analyze the perception of traders’ on the major factors influencing cumin prices in the spot market. India contributes about 70 per cent of world cumin production followed by Syria, Iran and other countries. India accounts for 73 per cent of the Global trade. For analysing the perception of traders regarding factors affecting prices of the Cumin twenty factors have been considered in this study.

Newborn screening (NBS) for cystic fibrosis (CF) improves nutritional outcomes. Despite early dietetic intervention some children fail to grow optimally. We report growth from birth to 2 years in a cohort of children diagnosed with CF by NBS and identify the variables that influence future growth.
