  • Climate change has emerged as the most serious environmental challenges. It is necessary to evaluate its impacts on climate-vulnerable development sectors, such as agriculture. Human impacts on environment have resulted in altered environmental conditions that influence changes in abundance and diversity of insect pests. In the present study, an attempt was made to determine the impact of changes in the climatic conditions on grape crop in Tasgaon tehsil. Various weather parameters like rainfall, temperature and relative humidity were analyzed in the region.

  • Remote sensing has several advantages in the field of agronomical research purpose. The assessment of agricultural crop canopies has provided valuable insights in the agronomic parameters. Remote sensing play a significant role in crop classification, crop monitoring and yield assessment. The use of remote sensing is necessary in the field of agronomical research purpose because they are highly vulnerable to variation in soil, climate and other physico- chemical changes.

  • In Ha Noi Zoo, northern Vietnam, time budget and diet of a 10-individual group of Macaca leonina and some ecological factors (temperature, humidity, human impact) were studied to determine its adaptation to the weather in the northern region of the country. Methods for the present study comprise focal time sampling and ad libitum. The study results showed that the species activities are not influenced by temperature and humidity, but strongly impacted by humans. There were linear regressions between the human impact and several activities of the species.

  • In Canada, other factors such as digester insulation, because of cold weather, also influence the final cost of such a system. To be economical, digester capital cost must be offset by energy savings, fertilizer use, and bedding replacement . Another disadvantage 17 is that fresh poultry manure can be hauled as solid manure, but if digested, the dilution water would increase the original volume by about four times . As well, the biogas produced has low energy per unit volume and can only be used for on-site operations such as running an electrical generator.

  • Because time-series studies focus on a given geographic location over a number of years, factors that are often thought to influence the health of the population, such as percentage of smokers, income level, occupational exposure to pollutants, access to medical care and age distribution, do not need to be incorporated into the analysis as they are considered to remain relatively constant within the study area over time. Typically, the only other factors aside from pollution included in these models are weather variables and seasonal controls.
