This research differs methodically from the classical application of DLOQ, which measures the absolute value of organizational learning. Therefore the members of business school were asked to evaluate changes in OL using DLOQ in comparison with the period prior to the reform. For that, the respondents were asked to rate the DLOQ characteristics on a scale from -3 to +3, where a negative score means that the characteristic has become worse after the reform and positive scores imply that they are now better.

Motivation is an important factor for inquiry-based learning, so creative design of learning resources and materials is critical to enhance students’ motivation and hence their cognition. Modern dentistry is moving towards “electronic patient records” for both clinical treatment and teaching. Study models have long been an essential part of dental records. Traditional plaster casts are, however, among the last type of clinical record in the dental field to be converted into digital media as virtual models.

With such strong advocacy of this particular method of instruction from the reformers, one would believe that its supe- riority over direct instruction has been firmly established by research data from large-scale studies in the field of cognitive psychology. However, no such data exist and the available evidence even appears to imply that direct instruction is the more effective method of the two.
